Bodixel, the group around Ludo Vandeau, is synonymous with instrumental craftsmanship, perfect musical feeling and a strong dose of passion. How else can French folk, Latin jazz, pop and your own improvisations flow together so harmoniously in a southern variant of the chanson? The voices of singers Vandeau, Elly Aerden and Bruno de Castro sound together as one powerful instrument. The beautiful piano pieces, the string playing of the tres guitar or mandolin and the moody cello make the magic almost tangible. Bodixel's alternating Spanish and French songs are intimate, balanced, honest and go straight to their target: the listener's mind. Bodixel is now on his third CD. The group wanted to introduce itself to the world with the first CD, but since then it has increasingly distanced itself from the past and jumped forward in an individual way. This concert requires nothing more than just listening and enjoying, or as Bodixel himself puts it: “take your time to get lost”.
