After four CDs with 'De Zondaars' (Nils Decaster, Bruno Deneckere, Mario Vermandel, Yves Meerschaert) and now a fifth in a production by Koen Gisen (An Pierlé), Tavernier decided on a proposal by Frank Vantroyen to have a number of his songs edited for a brass band. United Brass has about 30 musicians from the Leuven region. Together with 'De Zondaars' and United Brass, Tavernier browses through his songs from the past and present. Will 'The First Snow' be discussed? Yes! Will 'The Fanfare of Hunger & Thirst' be discussed? Yes! Are the Dark Days the ideal time to listen to Tavernier? Yes! Lieven Tavernier with 30 wind players around him. He continues to amaze.
