Leonor Leal was born in Jerez de la Frontera, where she also began her training in classical and Spanish dance. Flamenco followed not long after, training with several prominent teachers in both Jerez and Seville. She took her first steps as a professional with companies such as Antonio El Pipa, Andrès Marin and the Ballet Flamenco de Andalucia. In 2008 she presented her first work, Leoleole, at the Jerez Festival. With this performance she would break through both in Spain and abroad. To complete the success of 2008, she received an award for 'Most Outstanding Dancer' at a renowned competition in Madrid that same year. The Spanish man maneuvers accurately and sophisticatedly through the impressive and constant tension between art and mathematics. This, combined with an inimitable choreography, makes this lady an absolute must see for the true flamenco lover. In 'eLe eLe' Leal makes an imaginary journey, which she dances in a mirror. The mirror symbolizes the encounter with oneself and the reflection of new dance styles.
