Laïs

Laïs was the first Belgian group to sell a folk CD with the success of a rock record. More than ten years after they opened folk to the general public, Jorunn, Annelies and Nathalie still wow the audience with their beautiful voices and powerful harmonies. Laïs continues to renew itself. Their new CD 'The Ladies' Second Song' experiments with electronics and dynamics. But the interweaving of the voices remains central. They will also do what they do best at the Handelsbeurs: make the hair on your arms stand up.

The Bony King of Nowhere is the two-man group of twenty-year-old Bram Vanparys. His music is often described as pure, melancholic and fragile, but at the same time sounds surprisingly confident. This young musician was recently described by the Belgian national press as the new King of folk.
