Kristian Bezuidenhout (pianoforte)

MOZART FAVOURITES ON PIANOFORTE

Kristian Bezuidenhout is a phenomenon amongst pianoforte players. This Londoner with South African roots knows better than anyone how to make a pianoforte sing and make every work sound like an exciting story.

For the last few years he has been recording Mozart’s complete piano works.

His CDs are universally received with glowing reviews. The London Times, for example, wrote that Bezuidenhout is “without a doubt today’s most brilliant pianoforte player”.

As he does in his recordings, Bezuidenhout performs an interesting mix of masterpieces and less well-known pieces in his recital. With the ‘Sonata facile’, the ‘Rondo alla Turca’ and the stormy Sonata K 310 the programme features Mozart’s most famous piano works.
