KRIS KRISTOFFERSON

Kris Kristofferson is a household name in American country music. In 1970 he came to the fore with his long player 'Kristofferson'. It also includes his first classics 'Me and Bobby McGee' and 'Help Me Make It Through the Night'. Albums such as 'The Silver Tongued Devil and I' and 'Jesus Was A Capricorn' follow. An album full of songs about "doing nothing" and leading an ordinary life, that has become Marco Z's debut album, which therefore the appropriate title "The ordinary life or Marco Z" was given. The songs were created on acoustic guitar and then took on shades of rock, Motown, folk, country, etc.

For years, Marco Z sat lonely in his attic room writing songs. "I'm a Bird" became the breakthrough single in early 2012. In this song he literally sings "Ooh, the times I've wasted". Considering where his songs took him this year, it turned out not to be such a waste after all.
