Kraakpand 5.3 met o.a. Chris Jagger & Disko Drunkards

The ingredients of Kraakpand are as usual: five bands, the most diverse music genres, an exciting interaction between the groups, an impressive setup in the hall and Dirk Blanchart, who hosts the show. From 7pm DJ Sir Sourire will create the atmosphere and after the show the party will continue in the foyer.

CLAUDINE MUNO & THE LUNA BOOTS (LU) | song

Claudine Muno, literary talent, theater writer and illustrator, is also a gifted 'song writer'. On the latest album 'Noctambul', French chansons go hand in hand with English songs. A true magic box, from which bittersweet and fragile songs escape, intimate and full of winks, sometimes soft and sometimes absurdly black.

NID & SANCY | dance / rock

When Tania Gallagher and Bart Demey started making mash-ups in 2002, mixing all kinds of songs together, the Nid & Sancy project was born. Almost immediately Nid And Sancy were praised abroad. Their Mash ups sell like hot cakes in London's Rough Trade shops and end up at number 2 in the annual list of most sold CDs in the Rough Trade Stores. Live, Nid And Sancy is a well-oiled machine on which it is impossible to stand still. Their album 'Yeah Yeah Yes' was released in 2009. On this album the duo combines their typical style with influences from Kuduro and the Caribbean, resulting in a highly danceable cocktail.

CHRIS JAGGER (UK) | zydeco

Mick Jagger's brother brings zydeco, a fusion of traditional Cajun music with African-American traditions that were also the basis for R&B and blues.

DISKO DRUNKARDS Live| dance / funk / rock

Disko Drunkards is the live disco-not-disco formation of über drummer Stéphane Misseghers (dEUS), stage animal Tim Vanhamel (Millionaire), bassist Ben Brunin (Vive La Fête), the legendary Ghent DJs Mo & Benoelie and keyboardist Francois Demeyer (Vive La Fête, Soapstarter).

ÉTÉ 67| rock

The French-speaking rock group Été 67 did well in Wallonia, France and Canada with its debut album (2006). But the group is certainly not unknown in Flanders. Their previous single 'Quartier de la gare' was often played on Radio 1, they already toured together with Sioen and with Frank Vander Linden they performed 'voir un ami pleurer' by Jacques Brel on Belgavox. Their 2nd album 'Passer La Frontière' is now out. Musically between Noir Désir, Alain Bashung, ... the Yevgueni of Wallonia.
