Four or five bands from the most diverse genres increase the tension by performing their songs alternately and randomly. This dazzling music show is put together by host Dirk Blanchart.

OKIESON

Okieson does not sound like many of his colleagues in the fairly busy field of the Netherlands. Call it alt-country. Or nu-country. An area that now seems to have become so saturated that it has become swampy. And it is precisely from this that Okieson's sound bubbles up. How you characterize Okieson's music matters less. How it sounds is what matters. Okieson is a late afternoon walk through a swampy musical landscape into which you sink slowly, almost imperceptibly. Sounds that embrace the listener. That's called swooning a little. That's allowed.

WALLIS BIRD | alternative, acoustic, pop

In 2008, the alter-ego of Yannick Uyttenhove (singer-songwriter on bass) made himself heard for the first time with his self-titled debut album, from which the singles'Pornstar Tity'

strong>,'Good Vibrations'and 'Love Supercat Mindy' were lifted. Maximus has since played as support for Novastar and Sweet Coffee. On February 25, 2010, Maximus launched his second newborn. 'Mesmerize' shows the face of a mature songwriter who succeeds in transforming his everyday experiences into a musical trip that takes you on a journey through his imagination.

Whatever they may say in New York, 'Antwerp is the city that never sleeps' and Monky Pussy provides the soundtrack. In addition to the obligatory Anglo-Saxon influences, Monky Pussy is mainly the result of the Belgian, or even European, culture clash. French sixties pop, krautrock or avant-garde, you name it, it's all there. Mixed with dirty rock & roll of course and a dash of unadulterated Belgian surrealism, but always sexy, always cool. And very well dressed there!

SWEET COFFEE | electronica, house, soul

Patrick Bruyndonx and Raffaele Brescia have been working hard with Sweet Coffee for seven years. As writers, producers and musicians, they have been defining the lines of this ever-changing project since 2003, which nevertheless has a clear, recognizable backbone. A large audience can immediately imagine keywords such as soul, atmosphere and grooves when they hear that group name. Many people jump up in delight when they hear the songs that found their way to the radio from Memory Lane (2004), Perfect Storm (2005) and Naked City (2007): Don't Need To, Holdin' On, Special Kind of Feeling , New Day, Downtown, ... Sweet Coffee doesn't give laziness a chance. Face To Face, the group's fourth album, is not just a next step but a leap forward. More styles, more voices.
