Kraakpand 2.3 met o.a. The Hong Kong Dong & Too Tangled

The Hong Kong Dong

Brother and sister Boris and Sarah Zeebroeck come from the Kamagurka nest and clearly received a large share of the talent pie from their father. With The Hong Kong Dong they bring a mix of blues, rock, electronics and everything in between. They find inspiration in The Talking Heads, Beck, The Flaming Lips, The Rolling Stones and many others.

The Hong Kong Dong became a finalist of the Ghent rock competition 'De Beloften' and played in many cafes and youth centers in Flanders. The group rocks, floats, dances and drags you into a crazy maelstrom of compelling sounds!

Too Tangled

'Too Tangled' exists from Roeland Vandemoortele (vocals, guitar, wine box bass drum, zakazou) and partner in crime & love Eva Buytaert (vocals, violin, ukulele, organ). Their paths crossed in 1998 in the former group Wild Turkey. After ten years of making Belgium, the Netherlands, Great Britain and even Turkey unsafe, Roeland and Eva decided to put an end to Wild Turkey and look for something else. They found that in Too Tangled.

Roeland provides a good dose of virtuosity and strange twists. Eva keeps this in balance with her melodious and feminine lines. The interaction between 'he and she' is also clearly evident in their lyrics. On stage, their energetic interplay provides the necessary rock 'n roll sparks... Come, look, listen and be seduced by this beast and his beauty!

De Fanfaar

Jeroen and Sybren Camerlynck never thought that their 'zjingel zjangel' in their bedrooms would turn into what is today De Fanfaar: a solid no-nonsense rock band that sings their energetic songs in Dutch - read: a Brussels dialect – brings. The Fanfaar is somewhere between Gorki, Noordkaap, De Mens, Janez Detd, Nailpin, Monza, ... In the autumn of 2005, the group took part in the Nekka competition. They achieved a deserved place in the final, which earned them their first ticket 'AB' and some nice supporting acts (De Kreuners, Gorki, 't Hof van Commerce...). At the beginning of 2006, De Fanfaar recorded a full CD and a new guitarist entered the group: Filip Heylens, founder of Les Truttes and ex-guitarist of Stash and Norma, among others. The Fanfaar is ready to conquer Flanders in 2007. Starting at the HA'ndelsbeurs!
