Kleur in E-Mineur

HANNELORE BEDERT, SENNE GUNS, WIGBERT, HERR SEELE, KOEN FILLET ....

When Chris Martin, frontman of Coldplay, created the famous canvas 'Viva La Vida' by Frida Kahlo, he immediately knew: 'This will be a song!'.

Other well-known musicians also saw music in a painting. Nat King Cole sang about Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa and The Pogues were seduced into a dark ode to Medusa when they saw The Raft of the Medusa by Géricault.

Radio 1 asked various Flemish artists to write a song about their favorite painting under the title 'Color in E minor'. This resulted in surprising gems that now regularly fill the airwaves.

Hannelore Bedert, Senne Guns and Wigbert together with Simon Casier (bass) and Karel De Backer (drums) de Kleurband. Moreover, they also bring a guest singer to every concert. You may be surprised by Neeka, Berlaen, Mira, Tom Kestensor Sam Valkenborgh strong>.

Artist in residence is Herr Seele. With a great sense of humor and a fine brushstroke, he is inspired by the audience every evening to create a new canvas, live on stage!

Your host is Radio1 presenter Koen Fillet. It creates a finely brushed palette!

Through a competition, you might be the lucky one to have one of the canvases delivered to your home at the end of the tour!
