Sultry musical theater

Pencil. Karandasj. That was the first Russian word that musician Thomas Devos (Tommigun) learned. Many more followed. Thomas has had an immense fascination for that vast, mysterious country from an early age. He didn't know where that passion came from for a long time. Until he discovered the surprising history of his grandfather.

As if destined, he follows Karandasj in the footsteps of his ancestor in search of 'his' Russian soul . A personal quest captured in a spirited theater concert.

Enter the grand, brooding Russia. Exciting, young, wild, warm, honest, spontaneous, melancholic. An intriguing journey through images, text and music. Lots of music. .
