Johan Verminnen turns 60 and of course his birthday is being celebrated. To this end, Verminnen brings together the strongest of his indestructible classics and supplements them with other gems from his rich career of 42 years. A generous selection from the total harvest of hundreds of songs and more than thirty albums....

For this party tour, Johan Verminnen has expanded his musical core to 6 solid musicians. Are certainly present: Bert Candries (guitars), Leo Caerts (keyboards) and Nils De Caster (violin, lap steel, mandolin)… .

At the start of the series, Johan Verminnen published a book full of stories from the road. How he wrote certain songs, anecdotes from the festive Brussels years of the young Verminnen, but also musings of an artist who has uniquely occupied his special place in the Dutch-speaking music landscape for more than forty years. There will also be an extensive collector's box with the best and finest of the 60-year-old Verminnen.
