Classic echoes of Istanbul and the Silk Road

The music of the Dareyn Trio interweaves in a contemporary way the mystical sound of the kemenche, with its heritage of traditional music from Istanbul and the Silk Road, and the deep-rooted sound of the cello.

The repertoire draws its inspiration from the splendor of modality, the dynamic nature of the
string instruments and the rich world of rhythms. Emine Bostancı and Maya Fridman meld their voices with their instrumental expertise, resulting in a unique and enchanting soundscape. This is further enriched by percussionist Vinsent Planjer.
