Intergalactic Lovers

The Belgian sabbatical of Intergalactic Lovers is (finally!) over. After the success of their debut album Greetings & Salutations – just read the rave reviews published in Humo, De Standaard or online magazine Enola – the band entered a Tuscan studio with producer Thomas Harsme to work on an ambitious sequel.

And the result is impressive. The band has clearly grown, but without losing their trademark sound that made them so popular: catchy melodies, a vibe that can get the stiffest wallflowers dancing and of course Lara Chedraoui’s wonderful voice. What you hear is an album with a more personal sound, drenched in melancholy.

In-between studio takes, Intergalactic Lovers have kept adding pages to their international story as well. Their debut album has brought them as far as Germany, New York and the prestigious SXSW festival in Texas. Now, two years after mesmerizing a sold out AB concert hall (gaining them a **** in De Morgen newspaper!), they are back. Time to put on those dancing shoes. Their concert in AB is sold out already, but we’re glad to offer you the chance to see them in our wonderful concert hall in Ghent. If you’ll excuse us now, we’ll be cleaning our red carpet.
