DEAF CENTERWith its first EP

Neon City (2004), Deaf Center kickstarted the success story of Type Records, now one of the driving forces behind the experimental music scene. The debut LP Pale Revine put Deaf Center on themap of the popular post-classical scene (Ólafur Arnalds, Nils Frahm, Jóhann Jóhannsson,...). Owl Splinters (2011) provided further confirmation of the band’s craftsmanship in ambient electronic, contemporary classic and drone music.

MIKA VAINIO

As a solo artist, Mika Vainio went under the moniker Ø, but at Handelsbeurs he’s taking off the mask. Expect enthralling ambient, abrasive electronics and hypnotizing drones. As one half of the Finnish experimental duo Panasonic and a remixer for Björk and Tactile, he’s holding all the right cards to enchant you.
