Heaven 17 is a British synthpop band that emerged in the early 1980s. Martyn WareandIan Craig Marsh previously made their mark at Human League, but decided to start a new production project together, 'British Electric Foundation' . Shortly afterwards, they recruited their photographer Glenn Gregory as vocalist for their new band: Heaven 17.
Their debut album Penthouse & Pavement is widely regarded as one of pop's most influential albums ever. When it was released in 1980, the limits of technology made it impossible to perform it live. Until now. The entire album was performed live for the first time in 2010. It is an innovative and challenging mix of sound and image. It will be a unique concert experience; pop music and art installation, with hits such as Temptation and Let Me Go as a thrilling climax. Afterwards, hits from other albums are also discussed.
