Heather Nova

Heather Nova spent most of her childhood on the sailing ship her father built, where electricity was only used to keep the cassette recorder running. These memories remain an inspiration for her music to this day. At the age of 20, Heather immersed herself in the London music scene. She was the support act for, among others, Neil Young, Van Morrison and The Cranberries. With her first album, Glowstars (1993), she immediately drew international attention to herself. But the big breakthrough came a year later, with the album Oyster and the hit Walk this World.

Since then, Heather Nova has kept a tight schedule of making records and touring the world. She built an impeccable reputation as a compelling live artist. She also achieved success with other groups: she had a hit with the Swedish band Eskobar, Someone New and with DJ ATB she scored in 2007 with the direct hit Renegade.
In October 2008, her most recent album The Jasmine Flower, was released, an album full of typical Heather Nova songs: imbued with emotion and beautiful melodies that do not let go of the listener, dark and exciting at the same time... Recently mentioned The Sunday Times her “one of pop's most enduring mysteries.”
