Ha'fest: BRNS / Great Mountain Fire / Robbing Millions

TRIPLE BILL EN FRANÇAIS

The first evening of Ha'fest will revolve entirely around our French-speaking compatriots. From the danceable BRNS, to the indie-rock pounding of Great Mountain Fire and the psychedelic sound of Robbing Millions.

In 2011, BRNS whipped up a stunner of a single from scratch: 'Mexico'. The ep Wounded followed a little later, confirming the band's launch. Their debut album took a while, but it was worth the wait. With tracks such as 'Void', 'Slow Heart' and 'My Head Is Into You', Patine was a direct hit. De Morgen newspaper tipped BRNS as one of the up-and-coming Belgian bands to watch in 2015, (like Robbing Millions).

Great Mountain Fire is currently working on a new album and will perform live only twice this year: on the Botanique and Handelsbeurs stages. They were first introduced to the general public through their catchy debut album Canopy (2011). Its unplugged version in 2013 was highly recommended by Humo.

Brussels band Robbing Millions has been hitting Belgian stages like a tornado ever since 2013. The American blog Pigeons and planes described the music of the Brussels band as "a heavier take on the Radiohead-inspired psychedelica of Alt-J. The Fourofive thought it was "a band they had never before heard the likes of.". The EP Ages en Sun set the tone with singles such as 'Tenshinhan' and 'Warder'. Lonely Carnivore, their following album, effortlessly fulfilled all expectations. Watch that band!

This concert takes place in the context of Ha’fest, the music festival (13 - 16 May) in and around Handelsbeurs.
