During this Open Monument Day, you’ll discover how a thorough, respectful renovation preserved the soul of the Handelsbeurs, whilst transforming the hall into an acoustic and sustainable masterpiece.

Accessibility

The historic building is not fully wheelchair accessible. The guided tour is therefore not open to wheelchair users, although the ground floor is freely accessible. There you will find photos and videos of the renovation.

Practical information

• Sign up for a guided tour (in Dutch) at 12.30 pm, 1.15 pm, 1.45 pm, 2.00 pm, 2.45 pm or 3.30 pm (advance booking is essential, as places are limited).
• The guided tour lasts just over an hour, with time afterwards to explore the building further.
• The tour is not fully wheelchair accessible. Self-guided visits are.
• We’ll meet in the entrance hall. Self-guided visits are available between 12.30 pm and 5.00 pm.
