On December 14 and 15, the second edition of GLIMPS will take place - an international festival that invites emerging groups from all over Europe to Ghent. From this year onwards, Handelsbeurs Concertzaal will support this festival and is also one of the 13 locations. During the GLIMPS two-day event, no fewer than 80 bands from more than 20 European countries will be featured. From Macedonian electro pop, over a Swiss singer-songwriter or steamy French jazz to the finest fleur of the Belgian scene: GLIMPS is a festival where you can already see the bands of tomorrow at work! It will soon be announced which bands are scheduled for the Handelsbeurs.

MORE ABOUT GLIMPS

A team of nine programmers, consisting of: Eppo Janssen (Pukkelpop), Eric Smout (Democrazy), Koen Gisen (Kunstencentrum Vooruit), Philippe Cortens (Studio Brussels), Patrick Smagghe (4AD), Tom Vangheluwe (De Kreun), Lode Pauwels (Leffingeleuren), Bert Moerman (Boomtown) and Wouter Degraeve (Muziekcentrum Vlaanderen), provided a idiosyncratic but fascinating look at the music of tomorrow.
