Behind the Gitanos de Granada lies the Maya family, one of the most renowned flamenco families. The Mayans come from the region around the Sacromonte caves and are at the heart of the gypsy tradition for which this region is so famous. It is not without reason that this group symbolizes flamenco in its purest form: flamenco straight from the heart and with a soul. Tonight the Gitanos de Granada are guests at the Handelsbeurs with the program 'La Nueva Generación'. As the name suggests, the younger generation of the family is now also farming. Four dancers and six musicians take you to today's Granada. Their ancestors laid the foundation, they are taking up the torch with gusto!
