Gisela João presents a fresh new presence in the fado world. Her deep, warm voice has taken her from the underground circuit of Porto’s fado clubs to international venues.

Often in her bare feet, she open-heartedly gives voice to forgotten gems of fado. She is delighted to be returning to the Handelsbeurs.
