The tube-player and trombonist Michel Massot (Trio Grande, Rêve d’Éléphant Orchestra, Mâak Spirit) is an iconic figure in Walloon jazz. 

He has also been a mentor to countless young musicians as they take their first steps in jazz and impro.

New ensemble

He has formed a new ensemble called Surprise du Chef with some of his oldest students and plunges into the worlds of composition and improvisation, with enough instruments to feast your eyes on, swirling rhythmical explorations and a mass of creative freedom.
