Music as a family affair

The guitarist Myrddin is an absolute master of contemporary flamenco. Anyone who has already attended a concert can attest to its profound emotion and astonishing technical reach. His music often goes through the bone.

With his daughter Imre on cello, he pushes forward a new generation. Together they enter a warm universe between flamenco and classical music.

The De Cauter family

Myrddin grew up as the youngest son of Koen De Cauter in a renowned family of artists, in a lively house with an alarming number of musical instruments. Art was not luxury or entertainment, it was the beating heart.

Imre is also permeated by music. In 2018 she made her debut at Gent Jazz alongside her father. The start of a flourishing career.
