Juan José Amador is a world famous singer who sings for all the great dancers in the flamenco world. At 52 years old, he is a veteran in the flamenco world. His appearance is elegant, his voice raw and pure. Juan José would like to put his experience at the service of the young generation who honors this pure form of dancing.

In the performance 'Esencia' Juan José is the center. He sings solos as well as for dancers María 'La Serrana' and Antonio Molina 'el Choro'. Esencia is a pure performance, stripped of all adornment, in which only the essence of flamenco will be seen. Gypsy flamenco of the highest level imaginable and from so close that it is almost tangible.

Antonio Molina 'el Choro' was born into a gypsy family from Huelva. His father was a dancer. At the age of 15, Choro moved to Seville on his own, where he studied at the Fundación of Christina Heeren. At home he was taught the gypsy power and the rhythm that is so typical of the gypsies, but at the Fundación he linked this to refinement and elegance, which makes him unique in his kind.

María 'La Serrana' was born in Lebanon and grew up in the Netherlands. In 1999 she left for Seville to become a flamenco dancer. She took intensive private and group lessons with Farruquito for 10 years. She went in search of her own style and tried to shape her sensual Arabic background within the strong style of the Farrucos. Other teachers included Matilde Coral, Manuela Carrasco and Carmelilla Montoya, all three celebrities known for strength and femininity. La Serrana is one of the few young dancers who dances in the gypsy style.

The young guitaristLuís Amador initially learned the art of playing his instrument at home, the best recommendation an artist can have for flamenco. From his father, the pure flamenco singer Luís Amador, and his uncle Juan José Amador, he learned to accompany singing at a very young age, an art that requires a lot of sensitivity and improvisational talent. He learned to accompany dance from his good friends Farruquito and el Farru. His uncle Ramón Amador taught him the tradition and from him Amador inherited a certain cadence, power and deceptive simplicity that (unfortunately) is not often seen anymore. Luis is a gypsy par excellence, and is therefore ideally suited to accompany José Valencia, Choro and La Serrana.
