Elisso Wirssaladze (Piano)

“What Elisso Wirssaladze showed us is among the very best that is humanly possible in a concert hall. Today, no one approaches musical perfection better,” wrote De Morgen in 2003 after her first performance at the Handelsbeurs. Since then, the Georgian virtuoso has performed unforgettable solo recitals and concerts with orchestra in our country. What makes Wirssaladze so unique, according to her student Tae-Hyung Kim, is that she brings music to life. He learned from her that all parts – not only the treble, but also the inner voices and the accompaniment figures – must sing. Something extremely difficult to make happen. Her refined keyboard playing is also directly proportional to the balanced concert programs she puts together.
