Eilen Jewell is one of the rising stars from a new generation of roots musicians. Her first two albums featured a wide range of Americana styles, such as folk, country, western swing, rockabilly and even jazz. On her third album, Sea of ​​Tears, her elegant, determined lyrics go hand in hand with vintage R&B, Midwestern garage rock, Chicago blues and early rock and rockabilly. For years, writer-musician Yurek Onzia (The Believers, Motherlode) with the plan in mind to form a tribute band for one of his musical heroes, the visionary Americana and country soul pioneer Gram Parsons, who died 37 years ago after a fatal cocktail of morphine and alcohol in a motel in Joshua Tree Memorial Park.

In The Cowboy Angels Onzia gathered some admirer friends: Piet De Houwer (The Seatsniffers), Raf 'Lazy Horse' Timmermans (Flip Kowlier), David Buyle (Kris De Bruyne), Filip Wauters(Admiral Freebee), Dennis Colman strong> (Reef Rider) andIris Smithuis.
