De Kift

Headkaas is the eighth album by the sublime punk orchestra called De Kift. As usual, it is again a musical and graphic work of art. As always, world literature was drawn for the lyricism. This time De Kift based his crazy world on texts by, among others, Samuel Becket, Giza Ritschl, Lucebert and Venedikt Verojefev. In the Handelsbeurs the band treats you abundantly to cool circus punk, led by Southern European brass players. At the De Kift folk fair, laughter and sadness go hand in hand.

In addition to a new album, De Kift is also celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2008. They do this with a split project with five international bands: Calexico, Zita Swoon, Franz Ferdinand, De Rondo's and Monofocus. The five division lessons are published regularly for about a month in a circulation of 1000 pieces.
