Dans Dans: 'Sand' (cd-release)

NEW RECORD SAND

The Belgian band Dans Dans delivers an exuberant and improvisational approach to existing patterns and its own compositions. Breaking free from recognizable melodies, the fantastic themes throw you into a world bursting with strange colors.

In any case, the press have found it a real challenge to label their music: garage jazz, psychedelic blues, ecstatic noir soundtracks, spacy rock ‘n’ roll… After three succesfull albums they have a new one coming (label Unday Records/N.E.W.S.).

CREATIVE LIVE BAND

All the musicians are also enjoying individual success with other projects. Guitarist Bert Dockx is the founder of Flying Horseman and recently started his own Dutch-language project Strand. Bassist Fred Lyenn (Lyenn) shared the limelight with Marc Ribot and Mark Lanegan. Drummer Steven Cassiers has been collaborating with Dez Mona among others. Dans Dans is a true live band brimming with creative talent.
