“What he does with his hands is unbelievable. He sounds simultaneously tender and demonic. I’ve never heard anything like it,” said Martha Argerich of the very young Russian, Daniil Trifonov. A German newspaper compared him to Vladimir Horowitz. Trifonov was born two years after his death in 1989.
