Diatónico
Danças Ocultas grew from a group of experimental music students into one of Portugal's most successful and innovative music projects. It is now also bursting at the seams internationally. With four diatonic accordions, including a self-invented bass accordion, the musicians create a characteristic and very recognizable sound. The group opened the door to a new world of applications for the accordion. The music of Danças Ocultas draws its power from the intense interplay of the four musicians and its finesse from the experimental effects. The functional and innovative use of air is particularly striking. Danças Ocultas is strongly supported behind the scenes by one of the founders of Madredeus, Gabriel Gomez. At this concert the foursome will play work from all the CDs they have made in recent years. It will be a stunning evening that is not only a pleasure for the ears, but also for the eyes.
