Damien Jurado is not sitting still. With his fifteenth studio albumWhat's New, Tomboy(2020), the American singer-songwriter released his third album in as many years. After his memorable passage in the St. James' Church, he returns to Ghent for an intimate solo concert.

Songs vol comfort

For 25 years, Damien Jurado has been wandering restlessly between fiction and reality in his music. Each song is a miniature of life: sometimes fragile, sometimes confident, always searching. On his latest album he also delves into the deepest issues through small stories. He does not promise certain answers, but he does offer comfort.

Live, the American songsmith proves time and time again to be a performer of stature. At the beginning of 2018, he played a legendary solo concert in the Sint-Jacobskerk in Ghent for the Handelsbeurs. Now he throws a warm blanket over you in the concert hall.
