Madrid's Concha Jareño is one of the most prominent flamenco dancers of today. She has appeared at all major flamenco festivals worldwide and has collaborated with artists such as Rafael de Cordoba, Yolanda Heredia, Belén Maya, Rafaela Carrasco and Isabel Bayon. In March 2008 she presented her first own production 'Algo' at the flamenco festival in Helsinki. In 2009 she performed this production at one of the most prestigious festivals in Spain, 'Festival de Jerez'. She was awarded the 'Premio Revelacion' and also received by far the most favorable reviews from both the press and the public. She was recently asked by legendary filmmaker Carlos Saura to be part of his new project 'Flamenco Hoy'. Concha Jareño is an enrichment for the flamenco world that you can no longer ignore.
