Helena Casella invites (creation)

What happens when lyrics are not just sung, but also spoken and lived? Resident artist Helena Casella invites you to a total performative experience, together with spoken word artist Esohe Weyden (@asoheweyden) and poet Billie Vos (@devosinhetbos).

Music and poetry flow together in a mix of existing compositions and new collaborations, in which rhythm, sound and emotion take centre stage.

Who's Esohe Weyden? Writer and poet, City Poet of Antwerp since 2025. In her work, she explores language as a space for identity, community and imagination. She made her debut with the poetry collection *Tussentaal*, which was nominated for the C. Buddingh’ Prize, followed by the children’s book *En morgen nog een keer* and the poetry collection *Richtingloos navigeren*.

And Billie Vos? A master of words in all their forms. She wrote the poetry collections *Door het bos de liefde zien* en *Alleen van u als ik van mij*. ‘For me, poetry is found in so many things – in music, in conversations, in the silence between two thoughts. Perhaps that is what makes it so relatable: it is everywhere; you just have to notice it. Well… I love noticing it.’

ONHA? A rising Belgian-Ivorian French-speaking rapper. With his raw voice, he blends trap, groove and electronica, though he is equally influenced by jazz, funk and soul. With two albums already under his belt, his musical universe continues to expand.

Charlotte Jacobs (album presantation)

Charlotte Jacobs flies over from Brooklyn for an avant-pop concert that combines jazz vocals, spoken word and electronic structures. Her debut album a t l a s explores language as a musical instrument in Dutch and English.

With influences from contemporary dance and multidisciplinary collaborations, the result is an intense, layered concert that feels both literary and physical, fragile and powerful.
