The premise of 'The Parable of the Problem' is simple:
Everyone has problems! That is a truth that has been around for thousands of years. Everyone has the right to have problems. The question is: "what do you do with it?" In 'The parable of the problem' Roy zooms in on his own problems. He renames himself Boy Roy and, with his guitar at the ready, sets off into the wide world in search of… trouble!
On his journey he meets dark figures, including a dwarf, a philosopher and a joker. He wakes up in a brothel and is the only man left in a world populated only by: women! He sings about all this in his characteristic way: playful and teasing, subtle and witty! Because what would life be without problems?
"The parable of the problem is an evening of eloquent whining at a high level, musically very finely framed by beautiful people: Craig Ward (ex dEUS) on guitar and double bass Hannes d'Hoine (DAAU). It is a performance to sink into. A warm bath to sink into." De Morgen
