At the end of June 2008, 'Jazz Works' will be released, a timeless collection of Buscemi songs, reworked by Buscemi himself and the exceptional pianist/composer Michel Bisceglia. The gentlemen are supported by Bisceglia's excellent live ensemble: Patrick Deltenre (guitar), Werner Lauscher (bass), Mimi Verderame (drums) and the Prova Quartet(strings). Together they perform wonderfully ear-pleasing, jazzy interpretations of Buscemi songs, in completely new arrangements. More organic, less electronic. JAZZ is the key word…
