Neighbourhood Nuisance is a FINTA (female, intersex, non-binary, transgender and agender) collective of seven audio and visual artists. The collective was founded to provide a platform for FINTA creators to contribute to breaking down the barriers of unequal gender relations in the art world and the wider event sector.
What began four years ago as a shared desire for a safe, empowering and diverse network in nightlife and the arts has since evolved into a dynamic collaboration that combines sound, visuals and activism.
For Boomtown 2025, Burenhinder has joined forces with LuCi, a Brussels-based collective specialising in moving images and consisting of students and alumni of Sint-Lukas. Together, they will present a unique audiovisual evening in which film and DJ/live performances complement each other.
LuCi will curate a film programme showcasing the work of up-and-coming FINTA filmmakers. Burenhinder will provide a new live soundtrack for each of these films, created by their own artists or related performers.
