MILESTONES IN STRING QUARTET LITERATURE

The Belcea Quartet has nothing to prove: in recent years, their energetic, expressive and skilful performances have left their mark on the international concert circuit, inspiring Knack magazine to call their performance in the Handelsbeurs in 2010 their ‘Concert of the Year’. This time, the quartet treats us to a rendition of Beethoven’s opus 131, amongst other remarkable pieces.
