Arcanto Quartett

De Handelsbeurs and De Bijloke are joining forces. You can expand your Handelsbeurs quartet subscription with three Bijloke concerts, including this concert by the Arcanto Quartett.

This concert is part of the 'Quartet with the Bijloke' subscription. It starts at 8 p.m. and continues in the Miry Hall of the Ghent Conservatory (Hoogpoort 64).

After they had already established their name as soloists, Antje Weithaas decided to Daniel Sepec, Tabea Zimmermann and Jean-Guihen Queryasto found the Arcanto Quartett in 2002. An immediate hit and good for quartet playing every year that is an expression of craftsmanship and clearly structured stories. They serve a colorful palette of the string quartet as a musical genre, with a classicist pearl by Mozart mirroring high-flyers from the 19th century (Brahms) and the 20th century (Britons, Dutilleux).
