We no longer need to present Das Pop in our own country. While Das Pop has been competing in the highest regions of the Belgian music scene for several years, frontman Bent Van Looy also conquered the hearts of the general public outside after his appearance in 'De Slimste Mens'. Their latest album, 'Das Pop' (recorded and mixed by Soulwax) was released in September 2009. It is the rawest and most direct record the group ever made. Pure pop music, with nods to everyone from Joe Meek to The Eagles, to Michael Jackson and beyond... And that with nothing more than the simple sound of three musicians in a studio. More ambitious than ever, they keep the goal in mind to simply make the very best pop music, pop music that changes your life.

After a busy festival schedule this summer, Das Pop will be launching a limited and exclusive theater tour this fall. . The entire band is assisted by strings. The repertoire naturally includes the biggest Das Pop hits, but also lesser-known work and some specially tailor-made arrangements. Not to be missed!
