Aire Gitano

Aire Gitano is a collective of artists from the famous gypsy neighborhoods of Jerez de la Frontera: Barrio San Miguel and Barrio Santiago. Gypsy families live here and have been producing excellent flamenco artists for centuries. Young, talented musicians take up the torch from generation to generation and keep the extraordinary Jerezian flamenco culture alive. This 'craft' tradition is unique in the music world. A performance by Aire Gitano is good for excitement and emotion, ecstasy and tranquility, in short: flamenco at its best.
