Özlem Özdil & Güler Duman

TURKISH FOLK ON INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY

Troubadours Özlem Özdil and Güler Duman play the traditional long-necked lute called ‘baglama’ and possess the most enchanting voices. Turkish folk music was never this beautiful!

They recently released a CD together, romantically titled Yollarina Kar mi Yagdi, meaning “you were not there, did it snow on the road”. This concert will take place in view of International Women’s Day. Each year on this day, people across the world celebrate women’s strengths and solidarity.

This concert takes place in view of International Women’s Day and is co-produced by Handelsbeurs Concert Hall, intercultural centre De Centrale, and the Turkish Union of Belgium.
