10Jaar Sioen Feest met guests & Sioen Takes It To Motown

Before he goes into the studio in 2011 to record his 5th studio album, Sioen is throwing a party. Because '10 years of Sioen' WAS a party! From the first solo performance in a cafe in Ghent, to the many concerts at home and abroad, the 4 full albums, the music for film and theater, to the wonderful musical journey to Soweto. But especially in the company of a gang of musical friends.
'10 years of Sioen' IS therefore also a party, with the same gang on and off stage and with lots of party music!

SIOEN TAKES IT TO MOTOWN
This unique project, with songs from the brilliant music of the record label 'Motown', was set up especially for Theater Aan Zee 2010. By popular request, this production will see the light of day for the public one more time. Arno Hintjens (Ostend resident and brother of Theater Aan Zee) said after the try-out: "Well Sioen guy, it's a punishment! You should take a slice of that!"
On stage Sioen is accompanied by the top Belgian musicians: Arno's regular band (Serge Feys, Sam Gysel, Mirko Banovic), guitarist Fritz Sundermann (Axelle Red), backing vocalistNina Babet (Ozark Henry, Milow),Stef Caers (Gustav, Lalalover) and singer Monique Harcum (Mo & Grazz). In addition, there will be a real string quartet led by Jeroen Baert.
