Why shouldn't little people get to taste great music? Especially for younger ears from the age of 6, the Handelsbeurs is organizing a series of fantastic concerts formatted for children.

Bands that play for adult audiences in the evening will perform for little listeners earlier in the day. Lively grooves to dance to, crackling bursts of sound, dreamscapes and melodies that sweep you on a magic carpet to faraway lands and magical stories. They get to be right next to musicians and dive into a unique experience every time.

Read to eat meals

To make the evening bite-sized for busy parents, we provide a delicious child-friendly meal in our foyer afterwards. That way, after the concert, everyone can go home feeling warm and satisfied.

Sara Salverius & Aino Peltomaa for Jonge Oren (6+)

When Sara Salverius plays her accordion, it's as if a jack-of-all-trades is at work. Without looking, her fingers glide swiftly over the keys and buttons as she conjures up the most beautiful melodies from her impressive instrument. During this concert she shares the stage with singer Aino Peltomaa. Her voice pure and clear as ice crystals in the far north Finnish winter, where she actually hails from. Together they weave fairy-like musical stories, which wrap around you like a soft, warm blanket and leave you completely enchanted.

If you are hungry after the concert, you can enjoy a warm plate of delicious veggie spaghetti in our foyer afterwards at 18:30 (7€ children / 15€ adults - book in advance).
