20 x Handelsbeurs

The Handelsbeurs is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a smashing series of new concerts and a new name. Throughout the season, we bring together various artists and genres in new creations and look back nostalgically as well as far ahead.

Sara Salvérius already has quite a track record in our house, always offering a feast of layered compositions and feelings. Together with singer Aino Peltomaa, she creates a fairy-tale dreamscape.

When Sara Salvérius plays her accordion, the world stands still for a moment. After her solo albums in 2018 and 2020 and the accompanying Flanders Folk Awards for best album, she now enters into a duo alliance. Finnish singer Aino Peltomaa her voice sounds pure and clear. In various innovative projects, she likes to bridge the gap between early music, folk, jazz, visual arts, dance and multimedia.

Together they weave enchanting musical stories, which wrap around you like a soft, warm blanket and leave you almost enchanted.
