Lennert Baerts rapidly developed into one of the most fascinating young voices in Belgian jazz. With Profound Observer he unites the omnipresent Vitja Pauwels and Daniel Jonkers. On stage they are reinforced by jazz icon Bert Joris. Their intimate cross-pollination leads to so much more than the sum of their parts.

Whether it is jazz in many forms or chamber music: Baerts masters it all. His albums with his quartet Anti-Panopticon and the Muze Jazz Orchestra promptly earned him a spot among radio station Klara's 'De Twintigers'. The pace at which this artist continues to explore and evolve speaks to the imagination.
