Who's who

For ten years now, Ruben Machtelinckx has been following an extraordinary path in Belgian and European improvised music. As a guitarist, but also as a composer. He has collaborated with leading musicians such as Arve Henriksen, Jakob Bro, Evan Parker and many others. 

Nils Økland is a Hardanger fiddle specialist who has been active as a musician and composer since the mid-1980s. Much of his music has been released on the leading ECM label.
