Ibelisse Guardia Ferragutti & Frank Rosaly - rhythm and roots

MESTIZX is the debut album by Bolivian-Dutch performer Ibelisse Guardia Ferragutti and jazz drummer Frank Rosaly. The Amsterdam-based duo dives deep into the musical traditions of Bolivia, Brazil and Puerto Rico, weaving avant-garde jazz, post-rock, cumbia and minimal electronica into a unique sound world.

With MESTIZX - a reinterpretation of the colonial word for "mixed race" - they explore identity, colonial legacies, and the power of ritual and protest. The result is a raw, autobiographical and groundbreaking album that is as deeply personal as it is universal.

Ibelisse & Frank Rosaly
Ibelisse Guardia Ferragutti (voice, guitar, synths, performance), Frank Rosaly (drums, percussion, electronics), James McClure (trumpet, synths), Ben Boye (synths), Ruth Goller (bass guitar - subject to change)

Dareyn - klassiek, global and jazz

The Dareyn Duo is a unique encounter between the mystical kemenche and the deep sounds of the cello. Their contemporary compositions and improvisations echo the ancient musical traditions of Istanbul and the Silk Road. For their latest repertoire, renowned artists on piano and percussion add jazz influences.

The quartet embarks on a spiritual journey through the "7 heavens", inspired by esoteric and historical stories from different traditions. With each composition they penetrate deeper into the realm of dreams. The result is an unexpected interplay between classical music, world music and jazz, and a poetic exploration of deep emotions.

Dareyn
Emine Bostanci (TR - kemenche, Cretan lyra, vocal) Maya Fridman (NL - cello), Franz von Chossy (DE - vocal), Vinsent Planjer (NL - piano)
