Fasil evening with mezze, raki and music

On a Fasıl evening, as tradition dictates, enjoy delicious mezze and rakı, or Turkish snacks, and Turkey's national anise drink. During the Ottoman period, this light classical music was played in palaces and aristocratic homes. Today, you can hear it mostly in Istanbul's restaurants, because a fasıl is not complete without a table full of food and drink.

The İstanbul Fasıl Ensemble plays both Turkish classical music and fasıl, bringing the atmosphere of Istanbul nights to Ghent. This guarantees a lively evening full of Turkish hospitality and ambiance.
